Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, has pledged to improve the welfare of Kosofe residents, while not leaving out infrastructural developments, all to better the lives of Kosofe people, in the latter two years of his administration.

Ogunlewe made his pledge public while rendering his 789 days account of stewardship, as the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, at a press briefing on Monday 7th August, 2023, at the council secretariat.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to serving the people of Kosofe and improving their well-being through transparency, accountability, and good governance, which he noted had been the guiding principles of his administration.

Barrister Ogunlewe disclosed that he intended to use the second phase of his tenure to construct and rehabilitate more roads and to complete projects he inherited from the previous administration such as the E-library, though, he hopes to convert to a state of the art ICT centre, at Emmanuel Nursery/Primary School, Ojota, and Awanatu Primary School, Oworo and provide palliatives to cushion the negative effect of fuel subsidy removal.
