NOELLA Foundation, in partnership with Kosofe Local Government, recently undertook a commendable initiative to combat hunger in the community. Over 2,000 residents, including vulnerable individuals, CDC/CDA members, market women, artisans, and APC members, benefited from the distribution of 10kg bags of rice held at the Kosofe Local Government secretariat.

Supervised by the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, the distribution received early morning enthusiasm from beneficiaries who queued patiently to receive their share of the rice.

Adejoke Kadejo, the Creative Executive of NOELLA Foundation, expressed gratitude to Barrister Ogunlewe for the well-organized distribution, highlighting the foundation’s mission to eradicate hunger.

NOELLA Foundation, founded by Mr. Seyi Tinubu and his wife Laya Tinubu, has been actively involved in philanthropic initiatives across Lagos State. This collaboration with Kosofe Local Government is part of an ongoing effort to extend aid to communities, with plans to reach other local governments in the future.

Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, the executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government, appreciated NOELLA Foundation for joining forces to address hunger. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in tackling societal challenges and highlighted how this initiative complements the food bank program implemented by the local government in the past three months.

The beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude, and the successful distribution of bags of rice brought joy to the community, illustrating the positive impact of collaborative efforts in addressing essential needs.
