GOODWILL MESSAGE BY THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF KOSOFE LOCAL GOVERNMENT “HON. BARR. MOYOSORE OGUNLEWE ON THE YEAR 2022 WORKERS DAY CELEBRATION”.
I am delighted to join the Labour family today to mark the 2022 May Day celebrations jointly organized by the Nigerian Labour Congress, Trade Union Congress and National Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE).
On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kosofe Local Government; I felicitate with all the workers in Kosofe Local Government on the Year 2022 Workers Day Celebration.
“Without Labour, nothing prospers”. The workers in Kosofe are the backbone of the progress recorded by this Administration. You are always available and ready to carry out your duties effectively and efficiently.
In the euphoria of celebrating workers’ day, I commend the efforts of our dedicated workers.
There is not a better time to celebrate our unsung heroes whose efforts keep the country going.
Today we are going through several economic challenges and the only hope we have is in the creativity and productivity of our workforce.
We appreciate the consistent support of our amiable staff, they are indeed a special blessing to humanity.
This message won’t be complete without commending the Nigerian military; those who are having a sleepless night for us to close our eyes at night. They risk their lives for us to live.
To our indefatigable NULGE, you are wonderful, your contribution to the Local Government’s development cannot be over-emphasized.

Thus, I celebrate you all for this year’s Labour Day. I commend every one of you, especially the Health and Environmental Officers who have been on the front line of stopping the spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic in our dear Local Government.
May God bless the entire Kosofe Workers and Kosofe Local Government as a whole.
May you flourish in all you do. May you reap the fruits of your labour.
