A youth organization comprising of young professionals, technocrats and other intellectuals have come together to support the reelection of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress. The group unveiled plans to deploy strategic skills, know-how, and resources towards harnessing the youth segment of the state.

Convener of the group is Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, who noted that the priority of the group is to promote Sanwo-Olu’s achievements and galvanize young professionals by use of intellectual engagement to further enhance youth development. Olusanya stressed the need to shape the ideology of the youths on electoral processes and participation, while tasking youths on re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for continuity.

According to Olusanya, “The Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Youth Professional Support (BOSYOPS) Group is a collection of vibrant, socio-politically oriented and technologically savvy youth who cut across all walks of life.

At the BOSYOPS group launch, members shared their success stories from different sectors, while also enjoining prospective members to come on board to support the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu in order to unlock more benefits for the youths.

The well attended event boasts of tens of thousands attendance from all five (5) divisions of Lagos, as Kosofe makes the highest representation.

The commissioner hinted that the group is targeting three million votes for the governor’s re-election bid, noting that since youths constitute about 65 per cent of the population, the mark is a walk over.

She said BOSYOPS is a collection of vibrant, socio-politically oriented and technologically savvy youth who cut across all walks of life.

Olusanya also stressed the importance of building a strong chapter of BOSYOPS in every neighbourhood and local government.

She said: “BOSYOPS is a movement by the youths for the governor towards his re-election in office, but more importantly to harness the energy of the youths towards ensuring that a greater Lagos agenda is implemented and becomes a reality.
