Popular Kosofe businessman and erstwhile candidate of the SDP, Mr Lanre Carew, on Saturday the 15th of July, 2023, retraced his steps back into the folds of the All Progressives Congress in Kosofe, Kosofe Inside-Out reports.
Carew was hosted by Lagos East APC Senatorial leader and member of the Governance Advisory Council,(GAC) Otunba Bushura Alebiosu and his counterpart, Omoba Muyiwa Sosanya, in their respective homes.
Kosofe Inside-Out gathered that his visits were moves to finalize his reconciliatory exercise with party leaders, since governance supersedes the outcome of the 2023 general elections.
Carew’s visits and recent political moves are a strategic approach to returning into the APC family, after the fallout at the last general elections.
Recall that Carew campaigned rigorously for President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu, despite being candidate of the SDP.
It will also be recalled that the pictures of Carew with the son of House of Assembly member, Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon which surfaced online during the inauguration of the President at Eagles Square, Abuja, is also a pointer that he might have settled with his rival at the last election.
Mr. Carew embarked on several reconciliatory moves back into the APC folds, since the conclusion of the March 28 Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections.
