In a significant development for the Ikosi Isheri community, the 5th Legislative Assembly has thrown its weight behind Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada for a second term in office. This endorsement, they concluded, follows Princess Bada’s remarkable achievements in fostering socio-economic development throughout Ikosi Isheri and its surrounding areas.
They opined that the endorsement ceremony not only highlights their individual community’s appreciation for Princess Bada’s efforts but also underscores the collaborative spirit between the executive and legislative branches. The parliamentary parley, initiated by Council Leader Hon. Yinusa Salami, served as a platform for constructive dialogue aimed at charting a clear path for the community’s social and infrastructural progress.
The motion for Princess Bada’s endorsement was led by Majority Leader Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya and seconded by Hon. Akinpelu Folashade, representing Ward A (Isheri/Olowora).
