Abiodun Owokoya, an Ojota constituent and founder of the Cheche Foundation gifts Kosofe widows, widowers and youths at Galaxy event centre, during the end of the year party of the foundation, on December 29, 2021.
Residents of Kosofe took to the event centre on Emmanuel High Street in their large numbers to celebrate with their friend and philanthropist at the glamourous occasion, where band boys and live music thrilled the guests.
Engineer Abiodun Owokoya, while speaking at the event expressed his appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyo Ogunlewe, Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Samiat Bada and Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, respectively. He commended them for the wonderful jobs they are doing across Kosofe Federal Constituency.
Cheche as he is addressed by associates, urged the crowd to remain steadfast, that the days of joy is fast approaching. “Together we can, together will make it better, Together we can get to the Next level.”
He noted that the glory of the Youths is in their strength, and they should be prepared to takeover.
In his goodwill message, Mr. Olakunle Oladipupo described the founder of Cheche Foundation, Abiodun Owokoya as a philanthropist, generous and kind-hearted person that God has blessed abundantly behind measures without venturing into Politics. He pleaded to the women to give him their unwavering support.
Baba Oloja of Kosofe who couldn’t hide his joy commended Honourable Abiodun Owokoya for reaching out to the most vulnerable amongst widows.
While applauding him for empowering youths geared towards reducing social ills, he noted that, “Those children we failed to train, and the ones well-trained and protected from the public; lives may be destroyed by children left untrained.”
Baba Oja who claimed to be solidly behind Abiodun Owokoya’s ambition for Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in 2023, charged the gathering to go to their various to preach his gospel. He added,” We are going to announce it every corner of the market in Kosofe axis, that a young man, energetic and youth lover is in town to steer MHR office in 2023. Therefore, all political gladiators should bow down because the elephant has arrived.”
Several Widows, widowers, and Youths who are among the 500 beneficiaries of the food items, thanked Abbey Cheche Foundation for actively caring about them during difficult times and prayed fervently for him.
Lagos State All Progressives Congress Youth Leader, Seriki Murtala, Market Women, Youths group, Political leaders, Widows, Widowers and a host of other guests graced the event.
