The House of Representatives candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Comrade Abdulwaheed Odunuga has accused the All Progressives Congress candidates of oppression and intimidation, through tearing down and destruction of campaign materials of other parties. He alleged that

“It has come to our attention that some candidates through their Agents of Destruction have resorted to machiavelian and somewhat ridiculous tactics of defacing, destroying the posters, banners ,and in most cases pasting their candidates posters on that of our candidate, Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga, the House of Representative Candidate , Kosofe Federal Constituency
One is forced to wonder the fate of the legislature and indeed the Nigerian people if such childish, indecorous, and indeed anti-people character’s walk through the hallowed and revered corridors of our national assembly.
Our candidate, our great party (Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga ,the New Nigeria People’s Party, and the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency are however resolute and determined to see that decorum, decency, and the rule of law are returned to our polity. The people deserve the most qualitative and all inclusive representation. This is the solemn duty that Comrade Abdulwaheed Odunuga, the House of Representative Candidate wishes to be entrusted with.
These political desperados can only deface and damage our campaign materials but can not remove our name in the heart of the good people of Kosofe.
No amount of intimadation and harassment can stop God’s Project , the people Choice and the time that has come.
We appeal to our supporters and loyalists to be calm and remain committed to their mandate entrusted on Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga of NNPP for better and qualitative Representation come 2023.
