The popular Kosofe-Ketu family, the Baloguns, have lost some of their bigwigs recently, Alhaji Moshood, popularly called ‘Olori ebi’, Iyalaje, Iya Sarafa, amongst others are some of the minus from the large family of Ketu, who are hard to replace in a long time. Again, Saturday, 19 September, saw death struck another important personality, the wife of the Oba of Ketu, HRM Dr Isiaka Adio Balogun. Kabiesi, was said to have lost his pretty wife, Olori (Evangelist) Deborah Balogun, to the cold hands of death in the wee hours of today. In a statement signed by the secretary of the Ketu Youths, Olatilewa Kamaldeen, Olori Deborah was said to have slumped, she passed on while being rushed to the hospital for medical attention. We pray God grant the bereaved Kabiesi, and the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss, as well as put a stop to the unending deaths in the family.
