It was a black Tuesday for the Kosofe/Mile 12 community, Ikosi kingdom and Ikosi-Isheri LCDA on Tuesday, 1st of August, as Chief Razak Adeosun, the Baale of Orile Kosofe lost his mother, Alhaja Hassanat Kehinde Adeosun.
Alhaja Hassanat who was said to have given birth to eleven children, and has surviving eight, is the daughter of Chief Yusufu Oke Taiwo, of the Taiwo clan in the Ikosi kingdom.
At 93, she kept the family united and has been a major advocate of peace amongst Ikosi indigenes. Until her death, she was regarded as the mother of Ikosi royal family.
