Adedeji Omotayo Osinowo, Councillor representing Ward C (Ikosi-Oke) area of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, has donated books, writing materials and sanitizers to Public Schools.


Primary schools within Ward C Constituency such as Expressway Primary School 1 and 2 benefited from Osinowo’s Back to school support package during the distribution on Monday.


The first term lawmaker, while addressing the pupils and the school management said the gesture was to compliment the education programme of the Executive chairman, Mayoress Samiat Bada.

He noted further to the excited pupils that the thousands of items distributed is to appreciate their respective parents who voted overwhelming for the All Progressives Congress, Chairman and Councilor respectively.

He assured the headmistress, school management and the pupils of continous education supports.

“In another term when you are resuming you have the opportunity to have more. I am promising you by his grace I will always come here to pay you visit.’

The Head Teacher of Expressway Nursery and Primary School 1, Mr Akinola Oladele Ajiboye thanked the Honourable Oshinowo for reaching out to the pupils. He said ,” I am very delighted seeing people give back to the community. Others should do the same thing you can be rest assured that it will help the education system.”

Also, The Head Teacher of Expressway Nursery and Primary School 2, Mrs. Ajumobi Moyosore Deborah expressed her deep appreciation for the succor.

“We appreciate our Honourable because he is one of those doing the best thing. He recognized the children and God Almighty will recognize him. He gave the children books, writing materials free of charge without collecting anything from them.”

“He also gave us hand sanitizers for the teachers. We implore others to equally emulate him, Mrs Ajumobi noted.

 

 

The HoS Social Mobilization section of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mrs Odubayo C.O give kudos Osinowo  for the exceptional gesture.

In her words,” We were informed he is coming to distribute some learning materials and hand Sanitizers.

He urged others to imbile the lawmaker’s gesture for the world to be a better place. “The children are watching, they have seen what he has done today. Children do learn what they see as you know.”

Children have retention memory he is inculcating good habit among the children who would be Councilor, Member of state and Federal Assembly, Governor and President, Mrs Odubayo noted.

The pupils of the two separate schools in appreciation sang a special song for the Lawmaker and promised to make good use of the writing materials.
