In a bid to cushion the hardship of staying at home and finding a lasting solution to curtailing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a businessman, Otunba Seyi Adefarati, has donated food items and other relief materials to the residents of Oritafogo and Ifako, in Gbagada, Kosofe Local government.
The distribution of the items took place at the Oritafogo round about, and also behind R-Jolad Hospital, both in Ifako and Gbagada.
While distributing the materials, De Truth Property Ltd Boss, said it was imperative to assist the needy at this crucial time, to help cushion the effect of the coronavirus disease, adding that the spread of the disease has had a negative effect on the general public, especially on social and commercial activities.
Otunba Seyi, however, called on well-meaning Nigerians, and corporate organisations to continue to support government at all levels towards curtailing the pandemic in the country.
He also promised to extend the gesture to other parts of Lagos while the lockdown and trying times lapse.
