Farmcity Boss and former aspirant of Kosofe Local government chairman, Hon. Lanre Carew FCA has declared his intention for the Lagos state House of Assembly seat in Kosofe Constituency I.

 

Carew who declared his aspiration towards the forthcoming Lagos State House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency 1 Primary election on the platform of All Progressives Congress hinted the media on Tuesday morning. He claimed his supporters had pressured him to vie for the legislative position, after returning from his trip to Dubai.

Carew, the Head-honcho of Farmcity, confirms his readiness to battle the incumbent, Hon. Babatunde Sanni Okanlawon for the party’s ticket at the forthcoming APC primaries which will come up in May 2022.
Recall that the business mogul was a leading aspirant of the Lagos House of Assembly in 2019 before he was asked to step down. He also contested in Kosofe Local Government chairmanship primary election in 2021 where he had the highest number of votes but had to succumb to party supremacy.
