The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, according to the May 29 APC council election primaries, Gbadegoke Adekoya, who would bear the flag in ward E, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, has emphasized the need to appreciate the sacrifices made by fathers, to ensure smile on the faces of the members of the family.
Adekoya stressed that the family is given the opportunity to celebrate fathers, not just on Father’s Day, but everyday, as there is always a price the father pays for the smile and good moments enjoyed by the family.

“Just like our adorable and caring mothers, Dad too has so much influence over the life of the children.
The contribution of a father in shaping the life of a child is not negligible at all.
Fathers are the ones who put their lives on the line just make sure their kids and families stay well and happy.
Father’s Day offers us a chance to acknowledge all the sacrifices and compromise our fathers made to bring smile to our faces.
