In a significant demonstration of his continued commitment to infrastructure development, Hon. ABK Afolabi, former Executive Secretary of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), today, April 14, 2025, commissioned two major road projects in Ikosi-Isheri. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye and Hon. Lookman Ogungbefun, who joined Hon. Afolabi Kazeem to represente Value Jet and Bet9ja boss, Hon. Kunle Soname.
The commissioned roads are:
1. Oluwaseun Road: Located in Agiliti Ward F, this road’s renovation is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate economic activities in the area.
2. Olanrewaju Road: Spanning between Omojuwa Street and Adebimpe Road in Ward E, this road’s upgrade will improve traffic flow and accessibility.
During the visit, Hon. ABK Afolabi, accompanied by Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye and Remo Stars FC CEO, Hon. Lookman Ogungbefun, inspected two key facilities:
1. Newly Constructed Health Center: At Ikosi Isheri LCDA, the health center promises to deliver essential healthcare services to the community, furthering the LCDA’s healthcare objectives.
2. APC Party Secretariat: Located at Ikosi Fruits Market, the secretariat’s construction underscores the community’s dedication to party infrastructure.
Through these projects, ABK Afolabi demonstrates his ongoing commitment to enhancing infrastructure and promoting economic growth in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, building on his foundation laid during his tenure as Executive Secretary.
