In a bid to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal in Kosofe, the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has announced the provision of free shuttle buses for Kosofe residents, students and workers, who travel around Kosofe local government.

Ogunlewe, in a statement made available to newsmen through his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Fadipe, on Wednesday, said the free bus shuttle will ease transportation and reduce the excruciating effects of subsidy removal on the citizens.

In a chat with the council Chairman, Ogunlewe noted that rolling out free buses to move people to their destinations was a necessity, at this trying time of our critical economy and that the free shuttle would be made available at major locations of the local government.

“The buses would ply all the important routes within the local government, places like Ojota, Ogudu, Oworonshoki, Anthony, Gbagada, Maryland and Mende are major commuter points, the free rides would help reduce the exorbitant expenses that our people invest in transportation.”, he concluded.
