It was a moment of joy, honour and great excitement, as Abiola Omolade Olaleye and her heart throb, Dr Olalekan Lukman Abdul walked down the aisle to exchange marital vows, as husband and wife on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Hadassah events centre, Emmanuel High Street, Ogudu, Lagos.

Meanwhile, Dr Lekan, who happens to be an in-law to top mediapreneur and publisher of Kosofe’s foremost news medium, Kosofe Post, Mr Abayomi Bilesanmi. Dr Olalekan and his sweetheart, Abiola, earlier had their colourful and thrilling traditional wedding on Thursday, February 4, 2023. This was also an atmosphere of true love and sincere affection for the inseparable lovers. Infact, the marriage between these love birds can be best described as a unique Union of bliss.

The engagement, as hosted by professional engagement comperes, Tush Alaga and Resource Alaga, guests frenzied to maximum satisfaction from the mutual efforts at display by both masters of their game.

Joy and satisfaction was the order of the day at Hadassah events centre, venue of the wedding, top personalities from all walks of life turned out in their large numbers to graced the eventful occasion. Friends and a few families of the couple who flew in from the United States and Canada, where they both met, were not disappointed to be a part of the glamorous ceremony.

A friend of the groom, Mr Lekan Lekuti, described the wedding as a success, in his words, he said that “we thank God for today and also thank Him for the event of today, we have been praying for this moment to happen, now we are so happy to be alive to see it. We wish the long life together, and happy married life”, he concluded. 

 

Mr Abayomi Bilesanmi (Publisher of Kosofe Post), an in-law to the groom couldn’t hide his overwhelming joy, described the couple as one made for each other, in his words,  “I will describe this event as their wedding anniversary, because they have been married for over 20 years and they have grown up children in higher institutions. I wish the couple peace, more joy and God’s protection, as they return to their destination in Canada. This is a testament that love is really beautiful.”

The event was a fun-filled one for guests, as the were enough delicacies to eat, drink and take home. Souvenir was in excess for everyone to take home
