Ikosi High School emerged triumphant, securing first place in the esteemed Headfort Foundation for Justice Interschool Debate Competition in Lagos, demonstrating their students’ outstanding eloquence and analytical skills on the topic “Is Technology Bridging or Widening the Gap in Children’s Access to Quality Education.” The school proudly received a N50,000 cash prize, reflecting their commitment to academic excellence.
Kosofe Senior School delivered a stellar performance, earning second place and a N30,000 cash reward for their persuasive and articulate arguments. Ojota Senior School and Aiyedere Ajibola Senior School also showcased remarkable talent, taking third and fourth places respectively, each awarded N10,000 for their insightful contributions.
Miss Oluwadamilola Ilori, Programmes Officer at Headfort Foundation for Justice, emphasized the event’s aim to inspire students to leverage technology for educational growth, applauding the schools’ dedication and preparation.
