Hon Esuola Sikiru Alabi (Elegusi)
Some of the torn posters

As the LG polls draws near, campaigns are heating up in Kosofe. Hon Babatunde Sofola of the APC isn’t resting on his oars as well as his Labour Party counterpart, Hon Abdul Adelekan, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the APC candidate of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA is on the lead in Kosofe as a whole, as he is apt with his publicity materials as well as information dissemination. His giant banners have given his counterpart, Hon. Oluwagbenga Tambi a run for his money, as the earlier seems to be on the frontline, when it comes to campaign in  Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
Until now, one wonders if there are other political parties in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA except the All Progressives Congress and Accord Party, this have changed recently, as the day approaches more political parties like the PDP have unveiled posters for their candidates, not leaving Labour party behind. Still the many crises that rocked the Ikosi-Isheri APC is still a major point of concern. In ward F, the APC is yet to resolve between the two candidates that emerged from the said primaries, Hon Biliameen Taleat (Baba Jelili) and Hon Esuola Sikiru Alabi (Elegusi), who is to be its flagbearer, this might have caused the tearing down of the latter’s posters, in areas like Mile 12, under the bridge and some parts of Adebimpe. Our camera man noticed the presence of Hon Elegusi’s car, a black Kia Rio parked directly in front of some of his torn posters.
