The July 22nd Council elections have come and gone, to party faithfuls, hardwork pays and their campaign strategies worked. But to many, they wonder why all the seats in the 57 LGs and LCDAs were won by the ruling All progressive congress’ candidates.
About a week to the elections, when campaigns were in top gear, the PDP chairmanship aspirant, in person of Hon Tambi Oluwagbemiga Donald took to the social netwoking site, facebook to post 4 pictures. The pictures consist of the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA logo, his PDP campaign poster, the third poster is a disaster to his party, it contains ‘July 22 Lagos state local government election, vote APC with a thumbprint’, and another campaign poster is the fourth. One wonders if this was a mistake or it was intentionally posted.
To many, this led to his loss and gave his APC counterpart an overwhelming victory in the polls. Many PDP loyalists have criticised Hon Tambi Donald for being involved in anti party activities. One wonders why this poster is still on his wall, even now, if it wasn’t intentional or probably the error is yet to be noticed.
