The Youths of the All Progressives Congress of Kosofe Local Government on Saturday, 28th of January thronged out, despite the early morning showers, to walk  for the support of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The walk which commenced during the early hours of the morning at Maryland was geared towards showing their unwavering support for the Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while also extending their support to the gubernatorial candidate, the incumbent Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Kosofe APC youths also pledge their support for Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Kosofe House of Representatives candidate, Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara, as well as the two House of Assembly candidates, Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon and Hon. Femi Saheed.

The Unity Walk commenced from Maryland and ended at Peace Park, Ojota Interchange, where the crowd was addressed by Council chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada, and the council Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu, Mayor Dele Oshinowo. The duo of the Mayor and the Mayoress encouraged and implored the teeming youths to continue to  preach the gospel of Asiwaju Tinubu and APC candidates to everyone they know.

Speaking to one of the organizers of the event, he disclosed that the objective of the walk is to prepare the youth constituency in greater Kosofe for the task ahead and to remind them that Victory for all the APC Candidates is a Victory for a better tommorow for the youth.

The incumbent and candidate of the House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon, popularly addressed as Okla, while addressing the youths, noted that Asiwaju is the pathfinder of the APC, as such, the youth should mobilize other youths to support him. He further stated that Gov. Sanwo-Olu, whose good  works is transforming Lagos also needs the support of the youths, while not leaving the legislators of Kosofe, who in his words, are not back benchers at the Lagos parliament.
