On the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Adha, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, extends his heartfelt felicitations to the people of Kosofe. This celebration marks the remembrance of the noble sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), highlighting the virtues of devotion, selflessness, and piety.

In his message, Barr Ogunlewe emphasizes the teachings of the Quran: “Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” (Quran 22:37). He encourages the community to reflect on these values and to foster unity, compassion, and service to humanity.

Eid-el-Adha is a time for the people of Kosofe to come together, embracing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience. Barr Ogunlewe reminds everyone of the importance of being law-abiding citizens, contributing to the development and prosperity of Kosofe, as guided by the Quran: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you…” (Quran 4:59).

The Chairman prays for abundant peace, prosperity, and joy for Kosofe during this festive season. He calls on the community to use this period to pray for the leadership of Lagos State and Nigeria, seeking Allah’s direction and guidance.
