Ahead of the May 2022 All Progressives Congress primaries, Indigenous Son of the Ketu-Balogun Oyero clan, Hon. Yakub Balogun on Friday, 22nd April 2022, formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Honourable Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, constituency II.
He said he has a burning desire to see a prosperous and well represented constituency II, according to a statement as made available to Kosofe Inside-Out.
Recall that Hon Yakub Balogun, has contested in various council elections in the past, and has directly been involved in bringing developments to Kosofe local government through his connects with executive officers who run the affairs of government at the state level.
