A townhall meeting is a tool used by legislators to give and gather information of what their constituency, wards or community is lacking in order to advocate a solution from the executives.
This is the major promise Legislators from Kosofe local government have promised to do every quarter of the year apart from effective representation. Kosofe is yet to experience the effect of qualitative representation at both federal and state levels while these lawmakers are gallivanting around in ‘tinted glass’ cars, the pains of the people are yet to be listened to, the lawmakers are yet to communicate with the masses as soon as elections were won and sworn into office in May 2015. This is a wakeup call to all Kosofe representatives at federal and state levels.
