Barely few days after an inferno occurred at Binukonu Market, along Ogudu road, Ojota which led to destruction of Goods and properties but, no life lost,  the Kosofe Local Government has taken a giant stride to take up responsibility of the affected zones as construction work is going on at  the site and they are almost nearing completion as at press time.
Traders as well as residents have commended this bold step by the council as market men and women can return to their stalls to continue the search for their daily bread, also this has been so far the quickest response by any local government around.
It would be recalled that the inferno was caused as a result of the high voltage PHCN supplied around 11pm on the last Wednesday in November 2014 as a result of this incident traders cant till date stop counting their losses.
Though, this giant step to put things in place have commenced by the LCDA, traders still advocate for assistance as regards to the saw mill that got burnt on Demurin road that has been years ago where properties were whisked away by fire.
Its been disclosed that till date, the Agboyi – Ketu LCDA hasnt done anything instead it sent the occupants packing.
The questions yet to be answered now are – Where should this set of people go to? What business should they embark on?
