Abel Lazarus, the flamboyant publisher of The Alimosho Mail, has reportedly fallen on hard times in Abuja. Sources close to the Lagos big boy reveal that his fortunes have taken a drastic turn, leaving him struggling to stay afloat.

According to insiders, Lazarus’s financial woes began when he failed to repay a substantial loan. The loan agent, determined to recover the debt, has allegedly taken possession of several properties owned by Lazarus.

Friends and associates of the embattled publisher are said to be shocked by his sudden downfall. “Abel had relocated to Abuja after his former marriage craahed with his former wife -Ruth, he was living large and doing very well then in Lagos; said a source. “It’s hard to believe he’s now struggling to make ends meet.”
