The All Progressives Congress Agboyi-Ketu Chapter has flagged off its campaign for the July 24 Local Government Elections, calling on the electorates to vote for an exceptional performer, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, who is seeking a second term in office.

The party also canvassed support for its councillorship candidates at a program held at the Party’s Secretariat, located at Plot 42, Doyin Omololu Street, Ketu.

Present at the flag off that witnessed several cultural displays to thrill the crowd were the Apex Leader, Agboyi-Ketu APC, Chief Stephen Oyedele, Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba (Mrs.) Yetunde Arobieke, Former Commissioner, Lagos State Audit Service Commission, Hon. Abiodun Akhigbe.

Others eminent personalities at the flag off were Vice-Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Alhaji Mufa Okusi, Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu APC, Hon. Sunday Odekomaya, former Executive Secretary, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. Christy Otuyalo.

The leaders while speaking in turns, stated that the present administration led-by Mayor Dele Oshinowo has done well to deserve a second term for its captain.

The leaders of the party who spoke after one another emphasized that the chairman has brought real development to the locality, with all sectors touched beyond human expectations.

Overwhelmed with the joy of the event, the Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo assured the good people of the locality that he is ready to do more to surpass the excellent performance of his outgoing first term in office.

He further noted that his administration will not drift or lose focus, promising that the administrtion will continue to work on the same page to allow the populace take ownership and become its driver in order to deliver success.

The highpoint of the ceremony was the showcasing of the party’s candidates amid funfair.
