Orders Environment Supervisor  to evacuate illegal stalls encroaching footpaths, removal of abandoned vehicles

The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work executed so far on the regeneration of Agboyi Road.

 

He, however,urged the contractor to commence the desilting of Olaitan Oshinuga Street, Alapere.

The council chairman inspected the rehabilitation exercise along with senior officials of the LCDA.

 

While on inspection, the Chairman directed the Supervisor of Environment, Comrade Toheeb Durosimi to take action against illegal stalls encroaching footpaths and abandoned vehicles on Agboyi Road.

Mayor Dele further counseled the Supervisor of Environment to ensure a friendly approach is instituted, by placing a notice of removal and adoption of a strong sensitization process, noting that defaulters of the notice may see their vehicles impounded and stalls being destroyed.

 

On the kick-off of asphalt paving operation,the chairman requested for the cooperation and sacrifice of residents, explaining that the exercise will commence from the downpart of Agboyi Jetty with a time frame of two weeks for completion.
