In a bid to bolster economic empowerment and foster inclusive growth, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has unveiled another initiative, the “WeLift 450” Trader Support Scheme. This groundbreaking program aims to provide financial empowerment to 450 women entrepreneurs within the community.

Under the scheme, each selected woman will receive a grant of N50,000 to enhance their businesses and improve their livelihoods. Recognizing the pivotal role women play in driving economic prosperity, the scheme seeks to uplift and support these enterprising individuals who form the backbone of the local economy.

Speaking at the launch event, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the head honcho of the LCDA emphasized the importance of empowering women traders, highlighting their resilience and dedication in contributing to the economic vibrancy of Agboyi Ketu. The initiative reflects the LCDA’s unwavering commitment to creating an environment where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
