The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, has eulogized and celebrated the Kosofe youths on the celebration of International Youths Day 2022. Hon. Ogunlewe, in a statement personally signed by the Executive Chairman, he
promised his irrevocable commitment to both human and capital developments of the youth in his administration. It reads,
“It gives me an overwhelming joy to celebrate the teeming Youth of Kosofe Local Government and Lagos State at large on the occasion of this Year’s International Youth Day celebration.
I am particularly glad because this is the second Youth Anniversary I am celebrating with you since assuming office.
The International Youth Day is usually celebrated across the world every 12th of August and the theme for this year is International Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages
I strongly believe in your capability to change the negative narratives and to drive the transformational change trajectory of our administration by leveraging innovative voluntarism.
As Executive Chairman, I will ensure irrevocable commitment to both human and capital development of the youth in this administration.
I assure you of my resolve to explore opportunities in partnering with the private sector and other development frontiers to build the capacity of our teeming unemployed youth for sustainable job creation.
My administration will not relent in investing in Education and the natural talents of our youth.
This is an opportunity to strengthen the participation of young people in the Governance of our dear country by investing in young people to be involved as active agenda setters in the decision-making process that affects our future.
Once again, I Congratulate the Kosofe Youth and the entire Nigerian Youth on this special day.
