Musiliu Obanikoro has criticized the winner of the party’s primaries, Jimi Agbaje over recent comments attributed to him.
In response, Obanikoro tweeted: “For the records, there was never any agreement between me or any aspirant or anyone whosoever to accommodate any excess votes.” “Jimi Agbaje should not in desperation to defend Monday’s immoral and unethical show of shame, further tarnish his reputation.” “If at all there was any agreement, it was an agreement between Bode George and Jimi Agbaje to compromise the outcome of the primaries!” “The claim by Agbaje that we were in agreement over the excess votes is dishonestand unbecoming of a man who wants to be Lagos governor.”
Obanikoro was responding to a statementmade by Agbaje
’s media team claiming that the six PDP aspirants had agreed to add the names of some omitted delegates to the total tally leading to a final figure of 864 as against the 806 delegates who actually voted.The statement was reportedly made availale to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by Agbaje

Agbaje has also responded to the statement via Twitter saying that its contents are untrue.
