…As LG Chair fulfills promises to workforce

Like a true fulfiller of pledges and unwavering  executor of promises made, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has stoutly carried out some of the promises earlier made on the Staff welfare as he presented a brand new Staff bus to cater for their mobility.

Speaking eloquently about the need for all the workforce to show commitment in their duties, Barrister Ogunlewe who was represented by the Secretary to the Local Government at the Monthly Prayer session/workers forum, Hon. Fatai Oladeinde Gbadebo said the workers’ welfare is a rule rather that exception, as this is the tonic that would enhance their productivity and efficiency. He assured the generality of Council staff that it is a pact he had signed with them, which he was bound to honour.

 

Speaking also at the prayer event, the Council’s Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. J.T. Odubeko, charged the staff to show uncommon commitment and diligence on their various area of assignments, adding that the staff Annual Performance and Evaluation form (SPADEV) would soon be distributed to staff. She told them to brace up for a sensitization session on how to do the proper documentation on friday.

Mr. Olamide Ojikutu who is the head of Finance and Account reiterated on the need to further enhance and increase the internally generated revenue (IGR) of the Council, as a lot of programmes to be executed depends on increment in revenue.

Comrade Sunday Orababa applauded the Executive Chairman for his magnanimous approach to staff welfare and equally appreciated the staff for their commitment and devotion, he used the occasion to announce the new Staff bus being purchased for the use of staff in Kosofe.
