Following the demise of the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, late Hon Abdulfatai Oyesanya, whose unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday 21st of January, 2020, it is constitutional to fill the Chairman’s position with the closest office to it. As such the Vice-Chairman is the next in hierarchy to occupy the office of the Chairman.
Inside sources from the ministry for local government and community affairs had earlier informed Kosofe Inside-Out that the official swearing-in would take place on Monday 27th January, 2020 at the council secretariat. This reflected in our report in an article published a few days ago

In order to fulfill the obligation of the Nigerian constitution, the administrative staff of the the local government council, under the supervision of the ministry of local government and community affairs, with the support of the All Progressives Congress, shall swear-in the former Vice-Chairman, Princess Samiat Bolanle Bada, as the new Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
A communique to this effect has been circulated on whatsapp platforms, signed by the chairman of the APC in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Loogun Oyekunle Jegede. It reads…
This is to inform the all party faithfuls and the General public that the Swearing-in Ceremony of the Executive Chairman, Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada which shall take place as follows:
Date: Monday, 27th January, 2020.
Venue: Council Secretariat, Ikosi-isheri LCDA.
Dress Code: White attire & red head-gear.
You’re all expected to be seated at the venue by 8:00am
