Opeyemi Azeez Ahmed, Media Aide to Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, has issued an urgent notice to the public, friends, and family, warning that his Facebook account has been compromised by detractors.

In a statement released today, Ahmed alerted the public that unauthorized individuals may exploit his account to spread false information or make politically motivated remarks under his name. He emphasized that any such content does not originate from him and urged the public to disregard suspicious posts or messages.

“I wish to inform all my friends, family, and the general public that my Facebook account has been hacked,” Ahmed stated. “Please be guided that any write-ups or messages from my account may be used to achieve malicious or political ends and should not be attributed to me.”

Ahmed is reportedly taking steps to regain control of his account and has called for vigilance to prevent the spread of misinformation. The public is advised to verify any communication purportedly from Ahmed through alternative channels.

This incident underscores the growing concern over cyberattacks targeting public figures and their associates, particularly in politically sensitive contexts. Authorities have yet to comment on the matter, but Ahmed’s team has indicated they are exploring all avenues to address the breach.
