Hon Bayo Osinowo
Senator, Lagos East Senatorial District

As the Islamic holy month begins, the world’s 1.8 billion Muslims have had to adjust to a month-long holy period of fasting and reflection with a much more private tone this year, with mosques closed and Taraweeh (feasts after dusk) held in private.

Ramadan begins amid coronavirus restrictions, the federal government’s lockdown has been extended by another one week which will flow into half of the holy month, though, some easing lockdowns after, while states have enacted 14 days travel ban. In the spirit of the holy month, Kosofe Inside-Out have observed that the senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Hon. Bayo Osinowo has decided to bring succor to his Kosofe constituents, by distributing food products. This gesture, we gathered when a recipient, Sola Oyeyemi, posted an appreciation tweet to social networking website, twitter.
