In a bid to address the prevailing economic challenges faced by many in Nigeria, The Rising Hope Initiative has announced the launch of the Ikenne Community Kitchen. Scheduled to commence operations on Monday, March 4th, 2024, this initiative aims to provide crucial support to residents of the community who are experiencing hardship.
The Ikenne Community Kitchen will offer free breakfast and dinner to a minimum of 1,000 individuals every day for an initial period of three months, with the possibility of extension to six months. This effort seeks to alleviate hunger and provide relief to members of the community adversely affected by the current economic situation.
Overseen by a dedicated board of trustees, including Mrs. Kemi Soname, the wife of former Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairman Hon. Kunle Soname, and Alhaji Bamisile Kazeem Afolabi, the Rising Hope Initiative is poised to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need.
