The Majority Leader of the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA legislative house, Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya has made public his end of the year report. Activities of his six months stewardship, complemented with cash donations and other gifts to celebrate the Yuletide.

 Hon. Gbade Adekoya represents ward E, a staunch  follower of the Mamora/Soname/ABk led caucus, with vision that propagates ‘good governance’ and well-being of their people.

When asked about the source which financed the project, due to its magnanimity, the Majority Leader, noted that the cash, food and provision gifts were self funded through his businesses and not  attached to any political backup. Gbade made cash donations not less than N500,000 to ward E constituents, which is complemented with bags of rice and live chickens.

 Residents thanked Gbade for his gesture, noting that he’s a first of his kind as Councillor of ward E. Gbade thank the people for their unwavering support, while noting in his remarks that all political groups are carried along in his projects. “This project is apolitical, it is not a political largesse, though, I also have representatives of all the political groups in Ikosi-Isheri here, we are a family. The politicians are also part of the community”, he said. His Christmas package cuts across major APC groups like KIM, PSB, ROT, JF, Oyesco, Adetunji, Bolkam, Ogbara, Total Loyalty, amongst other independent APC faithfuls.

Recall that Gbade donated his first remuneration to the welfare of Primary School children in Ward E, by donating books and other writing materials to pupils.

-Distribution of free exercise books to public primary  Schools in ward E.

-Support the public primary schools within my ward with financial grant towards their annual Inter House-sports competition.

-Sponsorship of Blue House for both Ajibola Ayedere primary school and Idera Primary school towards the inter House sports competition.

-Intervention in fixing the electricity supply for Ayedere Ajibola Primary school after almost 15 years in blackout, as testified by the head teacher Mrs Adeodu.
