Hon. Samuel Adebayo, a Kosofe Constituency II aspirant of the Lagos State House of Assembly, under the platform of the APC in 2019, expressed rude shock over the sudden transition of Kosofe apex leader and Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, at the red chambers of the National Assembly, Senator Adebayo Osinowo.
In a statement personally signed by the house of Assembly aspirant, his words read…
“Death has really dealt with us another blow in Kosofe again! It was really saddening and devastating when the news of the demise of Senator Adebayo Osinowo (Pepperito) broke. I was shocked and at the same time overwhelmed with sadness.
Just few months ago, the shocking news of the death of Honourable Abdulfatai Oyesanya (Oyesco), a leading politician in Ikosi-Isheri, Kosofe hit us. We are yet to recover from that incident, and now Pepperito. This is certainly not a good sign for our homegrown politics in Kosofe.
I pray God gives Senator Osinowo’s immediate family, and the Kosofe political family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May God in his infinite mercy console Alhaja Mariam Osinowo and the children of the late senator, as well as the Lagos East political family he left behind. May we not witness any premature death in Kosofe anymore.
When a philanthropist dies, several beneficiaries suffer. I pray for strength for all of us at this time of grief to be healed and consoled. Senator Adebayo Osinowo will surely live in our hearts for a long time.
